We need to be able to use Email to Target forms into P4 to make sure we only use P4 for all form kinds and not have to manage EN + P4 pages for a same campaign (quite confusing to manage)

== UPDATE 23/06/2021==

RECAP from Community feedback: Good idea, but overall less popular than the first one, as ETT are not really frequent requests, but can happen. Also perceived as smth that reduces the amount of clicks.

The ETT is currently allowed in Engaging Networks / MKtg cloud, but not in Hubspot.. This feature missing goes broader than P4 scope, esp. For EN offices which are now using it.

Maybe a plugin?  Maybe via ControlShift? Maybe Gravity Forms like the GP CH experiment? Perhaps ask the P4 community how many ppl want to use ETT?

PROs CONs
  • More a would like, certainly less priority than the first one.
  • Clear requirements
  • Unclear popularity (How many NROs do ETT?)
  • Concerns about ppl changing the subject of the email
  • May involve a lot of tech work, especially to have this when Hubspot comes onboard
P4 tech team gut-feeling recommendation → This goes beyond P4, as it entails an integration with an email service (e.g. Sendgrid) connected to the Form block. Plus, some (not a lot) of design is required. Overall xxxxx complexity
Decision –> “Despite the great interest from the community, especially from offices using ETT on EN and will lose that functionality once they migrate, the P4 council decided not to work on this right now. Same as the “Make EN forms as Take Action Boxouts” idea, this should be considered as part of the native form builder feature.
It will require more work to configure mailer and other ETT options, can reference EN’s ETT feature for how to build it.
