Purpose:
- highlight volunteering opportunities with P4
- improve volunteer journey with P4
- use all the P4 tools to mobilise people from your GP website
Use Take Action pages and Covers
Many volunteering / mobilisation pages are set up in the form of “Take Action Pages“, to leverage the Covers block functionality, see below:
Use Columns block
All styles of the Columns block (“No Image” – “Tasks” – “Icons” ) are widely used to list engagement opportunities, see below:
Embed forms
Either using the Engaging Networks form, an iFrame or Google Forms, volunteering signups can be offered right within your Planet 4 site, see below:
Promote mobilisation across your P4 site
And here’s a few interesting ideas to have your mobilisation content always available to users:
- Include mobilisation Tags/Categories in your taxonomy (e.g. #Volunteer, #Join or Get Involved) and apply them to your content
- Add photos from activities with volunteers/ NVDAs in the home’s carousel header
- Add a volunteers subscription form in both Engaging Networks form and Happy point
- Add a “VOLUNTEER” button in footer
